Listers, while at VTR last year I started having starter bendix
troubles, drove it until I found another bendix & spring, then rebuilt
the unit with a NOS Lucas Bendix. It lasted about 4 months then same
thing, the rubber insert starts to disengage from the collar. Replaced
it again and the same thing. Called Ken Gallenders and he has his own
that he designed and manufactures, all metal, no rubber. If you have a
bull nose starter, I highly recommend this gear over the Lucas type,
