I'm still struggling with how to get a slightly smaller-diameter steering
wheel on my '72 and stay as original as possible. (In particular, I'm not
very happy with those teensy little aftermarket hub Triumph shields.)
Here's my latest idea in the form of a question: Can I swap my 15" wheel
for a later-model 14.5" wheel and still keep my original horn-push, etc.
In other words, will the late model wheel simply bolt on in place of the
earlier '72 model with no need to change anything else about the hub? (My
plan is to re-spray the spokes of the later model wheel to matt black, thus
creating a completely original look with only the diameter changed.
