| Hope all had a great weekend! I need to replace my clamping plate on the '70 TR6. I havve never removed the distributor and am not sure what all I have to do to install a new clamping plate. The Bentley only provides instructions for complete disassembly of the distributor. Can I remove the lower bolts to the block and just lift out the distributor so the clamping plate can be removed and replaced (the clamping plate has a bolt which would first need removed)?
