While not at all original in any way, one of the nicest wheel treatments I've
seen on
a TR-6 was a gentleman that had a dark blue car with the rims painted to match.
The
trim rings were alum as original, and the wheel centers were silver. The
contrast of
the silver center and the alum ring against the blue of the wheel is very
striking. I
don't know if it would work as well with say a red or yellow car, but for the
darker
colors I think it is very sharp.
