Hi everyone, just a quick message to say 'Thank You' to everyone for pointing me in the right direction to solve this one. I followed the wire round to the front of the engine and it was still connected, so I took the connection off and cleaned it up a bit (lots of crust, probably coolant i reckon) and reconnected. It now works a treat, so no more guessing the temp of the engine ! Also, as a result of the fairly simple solution to this problem, I applied the same thought to the failure of my rear offside break & reverse light cluster ! All rear lights are now in full working order ! Another major bit of news for me is that I've just landed a new job, which comes with a company car, so it means I can ease up on the use of my GT6 (now just turned it's first 90K mile). Anyways, thank you again for being very helpful ! neil 1973 GT6 - Christine |
