Paul, I put a pad on underside of the bonnet on my TR3, hoping to "dress
up" the underhood, but don't like the results and so I may remove it. It
didn't lessen the engine noise (tappets) noticably, nor reduce or increase
heat. Fact is, it doesn't do much at all and I probably wasted about $15!
