The pump supplied by TRF also required grinding, but I'd call it more
than a little.
The internal components of the replacement pumps don't seem to match the
original ones. I have an original unit that had the threaded end sheared
off, and had saved it for parts. Now I have the unit that I just
replaced on the car, which is also and original one. I plan to use parts
from each to create one good spare.
Except for the shaft and housing, I believe that TRF stocks all the
other parts needed for a rebuild of the original units.
