You might try putting the sleeve in the freezer over night, then try the
light bulb trick.  According to my brother, ship's engineer, they put the
bearing in a sealed plastic bag in boiling water, the sleeve in the freezer
overnight, then the bearing pops in with no trouble. Please use gloves.
