No sleeves, just holes. I attach my top with a couple of 2.5" x 1/2" bolts.
The bolts screw into a couple of captured nuts that are attached to the
inside of the top. One of the nut cages has become detached and needs to be
replaced. Gee, lucky for me that the head liner is missing so that I can
locate the nut on top of the bolt. I have a surrey soft top that fits
between the front and rear window frames. This top requires some rubber
grommets/sleeves where it attaches to the rear frame, but still nothing in
the front frame.
I'll double check this on the weekend when I'll have some time to remove the
top and let you know if this has all been a lie. But my confidence is
pretty high, I've had that top off and on a thousand times. It's a pain in
the butt for me to store.
