Hi Pete!

The best thing I've found is foam weatherstrip you get at the home improvement
center. I use 3/4" wide by 1/4" thick material that is dark gray in color. It
is
self stick on one side and will accept holes nicely with a hole punch. It
sticks far
better to the floors than it does to the plastic covers, but can be made to
adhere to
the plastic if you use some 3M weatherstrip adhesive in addition to the
self-stick
that comes on it. Glue it to the cover and hold it in place overnight with some
masking tape. Use scrap paper to cover the foam where the tape overlaps to
avoid
tearing the foam the next day. Usually though, I just clean the lip on the
floor with

wax and grease remover and stick it right on the floor. Because the foam is
adhesive
only on one side, removing the cover at a later time is super easy.
