Hi, all;

Hey, Charles appears to be a bit eccentric but his letter came from the heart
and unlike most "politically correct" CEO's he told it like it is instead of
hiding behind a bunch of "corporate" double speak. Let's face it "we" are a
bunch of eccentrics as well and the general automotive populace probably views
us with a jaundice eye! The guy has done an immeasurable amount of work to
make it possible to maintain the cars in which invested we have so much work,
money and memories. Maybe he was a little over the top mentioning his personal
finances but in light of what he and his associates have accomplished I'll cut
him a lot of slack. If the letter had been arrogant (I didn't perceive it that
way) I might agree with you. I found it refreshingly open and honest. Charles
products speak for themselves and his dedication to the cause is evident.
Please don't take this as an indictment of your reaction to the
letter......just a differing opinion. Haven't met Charles, probably never will
but he seems to be an open and honest individual who isn't afraid to revela
his inner feeling. If you believe TRF has done a good job in supplying parts
and services why would you "turn away from them" just because of a letter
written by the owner.

Having said all that.......when in blue blazes is TRF actuall going to publish
the GT6 Glovebox Companion? It was promised in 1997 and 1998....now it's going
to be 1999. Heck, it's a small car! :-)
