I am undoing some DPO modifications to a 1979 Spitfire 1500 a friend of
mine bought a few years back. The PO had replaced the ZS carb with a
Dellorto (or some other weber knock-off). (He also put on some headers,
removed the air pump and a few other modifications.) Although he
religiously saved all the parts in an artillery box the bracket for the
accelerator cable got lost. This is the "U" shaped piece that mounts to
the intake manifold and the accel cable sheath attaches to it. It also has
a hole for the rod and spring that attaches to the throttle shaft crank.
Please note that this is a US Spec car. Rimmer Bros has bugger all for
this model.
