thanks to all for the responses to my query. The knock-offs came off today.
I used the copper hammer that came with the tool roll. I know, that is what
it is for! But being new to wire wheels I just couldn't bring myself to
slapping the s**t out of those beautiful chrome knock-offs. I still think
the ARPO (anal retentive PO) had the knock-offs on too tight. As I struck
the knock-offs I shredded three thick terry cloth towels I used to cushion
the blows. Once again, thanks to all
