A few months ago I bought the Moss emergency release kit (which will not
help in this case - it needs to be installed in advance of failure). It
consists of a cable and handle with the fittings to connect to the latch.
I plan to install two releases, one on each side of the car. Has anyone
done this already? What are the traps and complications? Are the cable
fittings on both sides of the car (for LHD and RHD markets)?
