TR6 - painting pipes

Does anyone know what color to paint the water return pipe and hardware
that comes out of the back of the water pump or just leave it as steal with
a hi-temp clear coat?

Same with the steel pipe that connects to the lower radiator hoses?

I am trying to keep my 70 TR6 as original as possible.  Thanks
