Can't say that I'm experiencing neck-snapping performance right now with
the 4.11. I tend to spend most of my driving time above 50 mph, and most
of my acceleration jollies are satisfied by my motorcycle, so I am leaning
on trying out a 3.27.

For both trannies, 4th is direct, and the o/d ratio is 0.8 (I think), not
too bad to drop to 3200rpm from 4000 when cruising. Are the 1st, 2nd and
3rd gears for the different trannies different? Naturally, getting beat
at the lights by a Yugo is more than I can stomach, so I'll have to put
some more thought into it. To cruise or not to cruise, that is the
question.
