I just went through a new top and paint on my TR3. I painted and then put on
the top. I wish I'd had the good sense to take most everything out of the car
and then paint. I'm still cleaning off the overspray. From the few folks that
I've talked to lately, it is extremely unusual to have a car painted and NOT
have any overspray.

Good luck!
