No. It would probably only give more oil to the rear rockers and less to
the front ones. Not a very good idea, IMHO.

On the TR6 the oil supply to the rocker shaft is metered in
proportion to RPM.

No. See above.

The modification will only lower the oil pressure in the rocker shaft. 
Not that there would be any oil pressure to speak of in the shaft - the
shaft and rockers would have to be an exceptionally good fit for any
pressure to build up all.

No, it does not.

The oil supply to the rockers is metered *by volume*.  Added pressure
would not increase that significantly. It *would* burden the oil pump 
more, and supply more oil to the crankshaft.
