What else can I do?
I had an econobox owners manual that said to use a minimum of 94
octane. I'd been using cheap 87 octane without problems. It turns out
there are two different methods for computing octane. I can't remember
the conversion, but the cheap US stuff met the requirement. I believe
there was an 8-10 point difference.
As to the run on, adjusting the timing fixed this on my TR6.
