Don't soak it, it should be impervious anyway. A tip: Stick the gasket onto the rocker cover with some blu tak (I don't know if you call it that over there,) or some double sided tape, clean the head well, and bond tha gasket to the head rather than the rocker cover. This creates a little dam that the oil won't get over. You can use less torque on your rocker cover nuts, too.... My 2 shiny pennies Chris, triumphboy |
