My spitfires flashers & hazzards were shorted together to make them
work.  You will have two seperat flasher units, one for the hazzards
one for the indecators.  Replace or swap them.  If the indecators start
working and the hazzards stop then replace the faulty flasher.  

Else if it's the normal type circuet it could be a dirty contact on the
hazzard warning switch, the power goes through this for the indecators. 
Try conecting the flasher unit power lead to the hazzard flasher unit 
power lead, and seeing if they work.  If so the you don't have power
going
to the indecator flasher unit.
