I have seen a '75 TR6 with an 'Overdrive' indicator in the center position of the 3 indicator lights. I took several pictures of it because I thought it was such a neat idea. It looked like original equipment (it was faded just like the brake light and seat belt light). I plan to do the same on my '74 if (when) I get it running.
