I am going to be picking up Michael Noerregaard's GT6 this weekend, and
since I have DMV issues to address in Texas, I have to take a work day
off, so everyone working for me has to know why (since I rarely take a
day off), and, of course, I have to explain. Whereupon, one of the women
in the office sez, "Now, uh, uh, how are we going to adjust to this
"new" image you're acquiring? After so many years of seeing you driving
a rusty VW bus, how are we to adjust? How are you going to change with
this new image?"

All I could say is that this is not a "new" image, but rather, a
reversion to an earlier, more comfortable image....

Some don't dis, but they still don't understand.... <g> I suppose I'm
fortunate to be working in an automotive-related field, and most of the
people know the difference between MGs and Triumphs. However, they still
don't _quite_ understand the _soul_ of the Triumph enthusiast.

Cheers.

My other Triumph doesn't run, either....
