Just goes to show how much work and confusion one must go through when
the manufacturer is no longer around. I just checked the number on the
trans out of my `70 GT6+, and it's a KC. The factory GT6/Vitesse manual
says KD was only used as a prefix on Mk. II engines with smog controls.
