I have read with interest the threads on setting up a second release
cable to prevent a hassle when the original breaks. I now have a couple
of questions:

1. For those who mounted the release cable inside their cars on the
right hand side (passenger side in LHD vehicles) how did you attach the
cable to the car body inside the car? Mine has a (welded on I think)
bracket under the dash which does not exist on the passenger side. It
would be nice to route the cable so that it doesn't have to go through
the extra length and 180' change of direction the LHD cars have.

2. If you have two cables attached to the catch plate assembly, how do
you fit a second cable mount clip to the plate? On my plate there is
only room for one of these clips and without the clip I don't think
pulling on the cable will result in a proper pull on the release
bracket. So how do I mount the second cable?

Ideas greatly appreciated.
