Thanks for all the replies I received regarding this question. I could
have looked up the answer in my Bentley or Haynes but I have neither
manual handy at the moment.
To summarize the replies, in case anyone is wondering, it seems that
early TR6s (pre 1974?) worked in the "logical" fashion (ie. trunk light
comes on regardless of the headlight switch position). From 1974 and
onwards, the trunk light only comes on when the headlight switch is in
the park or main position. Weird "improvement" in the later cars...
So has anyone ever changed their "late" model TR6 to operate the trunk
light independent of the headlight switch? I am wondering where
physically the "joining" of the trunk wiring with the headlight switch
wiring occurs.
