 Well how about because I said so!? What thats not good enough?
ok how about because the spring will ware away the aluminium trailing
arm? is that a good enough reason? or because it'll act as a vibration
damper between road and chassis. or because you need them as a spacer
to help avoid excessive camber (the dreaded Triumph squat).
