I've seen several posts about wiring harnesses for GT6's and Spit's for
around $150. Last time I looked they were closer to $300. Where are you
finding these at $150? For that price I might consider just buying one for
the 'project' but at $300, well, I can buy an awful lot of wire and
electrical tape for that amount ! ! !

Hi, Barry. I found my replacement harness (main AND tail) at John Kipping
for about $165 US. Since I ordered it at the same time as awhole bunch of
other stuff the shipping was free, but figure another $20 or so for shipping
if you order it solo. I know that VB offers one, but I think it is a little
more expensive and the quality is ????????
BTW, it was fully color coded, of the proper length, fully wrapped, of the
proper gauge, had the proper type of plug connectors, and was otherwise
absolutely perfect in all respects. Like others on the list, I discovered
that going slowly and methodically, and having a helper made the
installation go pretty easy. I do agree with you, however, that state-side
the prices tend to be higher and you can buy a lot of black tape for the
difference. The biggest incentive for me was the fact that it was all
properly color coded. I could have made a harness myself, but my time was
worth more than the $165 it cost.
