You might be looking for "Winchester Blue", which I noticed was not on the
list. My '57 TR3 is WB. I wrote a letter to the British Motor Heritage and
they replied was that in September 1956, Triumph changed from Salvador Blue
to Winchester Blue at about TS/13203, and used it until about TS/24304
(November 1957), which would have included your car. (57' TR3A TS23731).
Then they changed to the more common "powder blue".

I have tried to get the original formula (Ditzler, I believe), but have been
told by the archivist that it's a "retired" number and they don't have it
anymore. I settled for having the paint computer matched and it looks great
(IMHO), although somewhat feminine. That's OK since the car was bought for
my wife from the original owner, also a female. She's named "Martha" (the
car, not the original owner).

I did find one old guy in Tennessee who had a paint chip page with Winchester
Blue but wouldn't sell it to me. I need to try him again, I guess.
Unfortunately, without the car and the chip in the same place, I wasn't able
to tell whether they were exactly the same, but they seemed to be at least
close. It seems to me that I have a formual for Winchester Blue from another
paint company (Ace or something like that), but I can't find it right now.
I'll look around and if I find it will send it along.

If anyone comes up with an original "Winchester Blue" paint chip I'd sure
like to have it.
