Paul IMHO you should replace ALL the U Joints Pronto. 95% chance you will cure the problem. Also, have the shaft rebalanced after replacing joints. Should not cost much and will preclude a balance problem should the vibration still persist. You are on borrowed time with 23 year old U Joints. I replaced mine. One was obviously bad. The others that seemed solid were in terrible shape when I got into them. I will bet a Fosters on it that you have the same situation. Brian N |
