Thank you for all the replies concerning an owners club in London, UK.  I have a
list of people to call now!.  The car is a 1965 Triumph Herald.

Where I come from in New Zealand a car of this age is not at all uncommon.  I
used to own a 1967 VW Beetle which was a fairly commonly seen car.  Here in the
UK it seems that any car over 10 years old (a slight exageration) is a rare
classic!  I gues that this is what comes of putting salt on the roads during
Winter
