I have a four point, which will become five point, in my TR-6. The lap
belts mount in the original location, the shoulder belts are "wrap" mounted
to a somewhat modified Holbrecht roll bar. This is today considered a
street roll bar, not high enough to be race legal for an open car, but
bolting on the hardtop makes me a closed car.
I had a local stock car builder weld in a diagonal brace from the upper
driver's side corner to the lower passenger side brace. Then he welded in
a horizontal bar about half way up going from the diagonal to the main hoop
on the drivers side. This horizontal bar is for shoulder harness mounting.
It worked out very well.
BTW, if you intend to use this setup on the street as well as track I
highly recommend the cam-lock style buckle. The extra convenience is worth
every cent.
