Eddy, FWIW, I tried this years ago on my GT6+, when I was autocrossing
regularly and looking for "any advantage I could get." ;-) What I ended
up doing was just getting several extra plugs and simply using the trial-and-
error method to find six that would line up relatively close to the
intake valve.
I don't know if extra washers will have that much of a detrimental
effect, but plugs are cheap.
Meanwhile, I'll agree that it probably doesn't make a lot of difference
in a relatively stock engine, but it made me feel better! :-)
