Twice now, while working in the garage while the TR6 is in there, I've heard a
brief
gurgling sound, almost as if some pressure is being relieve though liquid. While
attempting to install the trunk trim tonight (another adventure!) I heard it
again, and
I believe I've tracked down the source. There is a black metal panel, about
8"x10",
pop riveted to the inside of the right rear wing (fender). Near as I can tell
there are
a couple of small diameter (about 1") black hoses disappearing behing the panel.
It appears as if the hoses are connected to the gas tank at one of the numerous
venting points near the filler opening. Can anybody clue me in as to what is
going
on here? I've looked through my Bentley's but didn't see anything obvious.
