An article in April issue of "Thoroughbred & Classic Cars" lists 5 places in
the UK where you can get your gauge rebuilt and/or recalibrated. One of these
(Speedy Cables (London) Ltd.) has special software with which they can
recalibrate the speedo for any combination of gearbox, tires, wheels etc that
you may have switched to.
Like me, you would probably rather hear some way to do it yourself, but the
availabilty of an accurate recalibration like this sounds too good not to
look into.
