To all T2000 register members
The 'very fine car' (71 VFC) pictured on the back of the June edition of 'Six
Appeal' changed hands last weekend.
It now belongs to Kevin Perry, previously famed for his white 2 litre Bond
Equipe convertible.
Kevin appeared at the TSSC Mid-Kent meeting in Maidstone last night, very proud
of his latest purchase. It is a
1964 2000 with automatic gearbox and all of 33,000 miles on the clock plus a
full history to boot apart from, sadly,
the original bill of sale. The photo in the mag doesn't really do the car
justice although the shine has faded
somewhat over the years. I did my bit by pressing him gently to join the
Register. That must get me a brownie
point or two, surely.
