BE CAREFUL ABOUT USED WIRE WHEEL STUFF!
Check the splines on the hubs & wheels for wear. If they are worn, they are so
much trash. It costs more than a new wheel to have a new hub laced in and the
wheel trued.
A wheel will not sit on the rear part of the axle hub splines. Compare the rear
of the splines to the outer part. They should look the same or show very slight
wear. The splines on the inside of the wheel hubs should look like the
insidebit of the axle hub splines

I purchased 4 hubs & 4 wheels used. Turns out they all had worn hobs and were
out of alignment. Which reminds me you should check the wheels for broken
spokes & alignment & subtract $50 for each wheel out of alignment, assuming you
have someone nearby who can do a good wheel alignment.
If your TR250 is like a TR3, you need to mount the hubs, put special nuts on the
lugs to anchor the hubs and cut off the lug studs that stick out beyond the
nuts.
