On things to look at to figure out true mileage:
When I fiirst got my TR6, I pulled all the axles and replaced the U-joints
because of many clunks. In the process I saw where the POs had worn out
U-joints 3 seperate times ,and it worn into the yokes a small amount. That
told me I was looking more at 185,000 rather than 85,000.
So I suggest looking at the more permanent parts that rotate, that peeple
would tend not to swap out, like axles, rather than engines or tranny's.
