The biggest problem with moving the seats farther back is fouling the top bows when they're folded down; check this first. Drilling holes is no problem, but attaching fixed nuts for the seat rail holddowns may be, since they're probably obscured by frame rails. Have you tried a smaller diameter steering wheel? I switched to a 1" smaller diameter in both the TR4A and GT6+ and it makes a huge difference. The Triumph Sports Six Club sells a kit with a nice Mountney wheel at a fairly good price. |
