I cant recall the exact details but Im sure there is a tech tip or owners who
still have their tail lights fixed in the TT manner. The tail/brake lights
where dim from the factory and some owners borrowed bulb holders from Alpines
or they might be available at parts stores now. The main thing I cant recall
is how they attached the extra bulb and holder or if they where for both the
tail light and brake or only one of the two. Adding these bulb holders and
extra bulbs made the tail lights nuch more viseable. It is somthing Ive always
planned to do, even saved the holders from a parts Alpine but when my yahoo
was hijacked all my folders on Beam info was gone- I did manage to get the
1500 emails but the important ones where moved to the Beam folders. Someone
with this knowledge please post it or Steve may know the directions from his
great site.
In England orange tail light where use for the large section, if
you arent a pureist, these are still available on ebay and maybe from the 2
good parts stores or perhaps from an ebayer in Canada. I hope this helps
somone and IF the tech tip is located it would help me. Having 65 degree
weather today in southern IL.my som and I went fishing. Sun was bright and
thats not a great sign the bass are going to hit-- I should have taken the
hard top off and ran some oil tru the Tigers engine, Im sure she would have
gowled loud if she has passed a dam groundhog.
Daylight savings time 3-11 and
spring 9 days later- thats 45 days if I can count. Prolly snow till June after
all these warm days.
Cheers to all.
