I too did the same on my Mark 1.without issue. I Used Petronix on Nortons,
Mg's No problems.but they have mechanical tachs.. Gary B9472283

I installed a Pertronix with a regular coil about 12 years ago and have
had no tachometer problems. What did I do wrong?
