forgot to mention that in case, you are not doing so, you should be
using some sort of sealant on the NPT threads. as i said earlier,
normally this would be a teflon paste but for brake fittings there is
probably some sort of curable loctite like sealant that would be
better.
now its time for someone else who knows what they're talking about to
jump in....
