Tom,
Everything that is connected to the battery side of the solenoid gets
connected together. I made a special connector for this part out of copper
sheet the thickness off the blade requirement. Then connect a 10 gauge
Brown wire/yellow stripe to that setup. Run the 10 gauge wire to the input
of the ammeter. Run a 10 gauge Brown wire/ black stripe back to the battery
side of the solenoid.
You are done.
The battery charges through the ammeter. So the unstitched brown wires,the
alternator output, should be on the input to the ammeter if you did this
correctly.
