Most of the time a jumping speedo is because
the cable is binding somewhere inside the sheath
or the teeth on the gear is worn. The only long
term solution to the binding in the sheath is to
get a new cable. Try unhooking the cable and'
let it hang down under the cable. While someone
steers, grab the rotating cable and see how
it turns. If it is jerky then you know its not the
speedo head and MOMO is clear. Usually if
you had to rebuild the head because it seized
then the odds are that the gear has stripped.
