I have heard from several sources to run in a new engine by driving with alternating doses of full throttle, low to mid rpm acceleration and closed throttle deceleration. This is supposed to help seat the rings. I believe this recommendatoin comes from manufactures of piston rings, not manufactures of camshafts. Doug Leithauser |
