Scott,
Since this only occurs in a left hand turn, I'd guess that it is because you
have
a side-pivot float bowl, and the float is swung up, keeping the needle valve
closed, so you starve for gas. This is not common on the street, as you are not
in that 'g-load' state very long, but on a race course you can be.
That's why they designed center pivot float bowls. You can buy new center-hung
float bowls, floats, etc., from Holley for a conversion. (Even in chrome, if you
are so inclined).
