Hello Fellow Listers!
I have what I think is an unusual problem. When going into a turn I
typically double clutch to the next lower gear, go through the curves apex,
and power through the rest of the curve. Typical Bondurant teaching from the
60's at the old Ontario Motor Speedway. This works great in my car if the
curve goes to the left. If the curve goes to the right, the cars stalls out
for about three seconds, and then since it is still rolling, catches again
and keeps going. The car has a 289 with a Holly carb. I've had Dale A.
check the carb and floats as well as another mechanic. Both say the carb is
fine. Any suggestions?
