I agree with you and in no way was disagreeing when I first replied to this
thread. In a roundabout fashion, I was adressing an ongoing gripe relative to
many of the Tiger events, which is that the concours is really just a
popularity contest. This is understandable, as how many individuals have the
knowledge necessary to really judge a Tiger by accepted concours standards.
The event organizers need, IMHO, to either declare the event a "car show"
(popular vote) or do a REAL concours, with all that entails.
