Bob and Jim,
Sorry, I didn't see that. Glasses in other room, filled with amber fluid.
I got mine with the letters off. On repaint, with all the chrome surround
off, it was easy to see where the holes were filled, and how to get at them,
but I decided to leave them off. If the "speed slips" aren't there, then they
are probably thin shell "speed nuts", which need a small wrench. Access much
better with grill and surround off. Since I haven't done this, the only thing
I can be sure of is the "S" is still the left-most lettter.
