Joe,

Most conversions, including the TAC option, place the temperature sensor
in the manifold hole provided for it. If you purchased a "TIGER" of
Edelbrock "F4B" made for the Tiger, then the manifold sensor threads
match the English (pipe?) thread. If not built for the Tiger, then there
are two options. The CAT Shop Notes suggest threading in the appropriate
American thread adapter with a sealant/Loc-Tite, then tapping it with
the correct British thread. Some of the insert will be cut away by the
new thread, so neads to be firmly fixed and sealed when inserted. There
was a recent thread on British Pipe Thread taps and sources.

Another solution is to leave the connection the way it is, and use a
hose to connect the sender block to the current end of the carb feed
thru (bypassing the carb block function). I haven't looked too deeply at
this one, but you might just check the flow path.
